JURORS AWARD Several winners A certificate of merit and \50,000 will be presented to several winners. ＊Works nominated in the jury's final selection will be also exhibited. 　Artist will receive a copy of the exhibition catalog. 　 　　　　　　 　 　 ■ ENTRY and REGISTRATION Please bring in the work with application form and a copy of the form directly to the exhibition hall. ＊ Please make a copy of the original application form in advance. ○ You are able to send ONLY "Portfolio" entries, should be arrived October 1st to 25th, 2010. ○ Please bring the works by yourself or ask your representative. ○ There is a instruction for overseas entries, please check the "OVERSEAS ENTRIES" section below. ○ Please put submission labels to all of your work pieces. ● When to bring in the work : October 24th (Sun.), 25th (Mon.),2010 11:00am-7:00pm ● Where to bring : MIO Hall, Tennoji MIO 12th floor. 　 　 　 ■ WORK REQIREMENTS ● Work must be an original work of art in photography or in photo media, that has not been exhibited in public. There is no requirement in theme, genre, content, technique and form of the work. (Work of digital medium should include the imagery originally taken by the artist.) ● The work should be in the condition to hang on the wall. It can be a single or multiple pieces. ○ Maximum wall size of 2m high x 4m wide is given to each artist. Longest length of the work must be within 2m. (This does not mean that the work need to fill the size of 2m x 4m. Single, small piece is also accepted.) ○ Hanging on the wall with nail and string is preferred. (Unless, we may ask artist to consider the showing plan again.) ● Please fill the "Installment Instruction" in the application form clearly with the sizes of the pieces and your installment plan. ○ Please do not use glass to frame your work. Plexiglass or acrylic sheet is accepted. ○ Please do not use water or electricity in your work. Please do not plan to exhibit your work on floor or ceiling of the hall. ○ We accept the work from the artist's individual exhibition, but we do not accept the work entered or going to be entered in another competition. ● PORTFOLIO ENTRY ○ Work of multiple pieces, or a very large piece is also accepted by a filed presentation of smaller prints (portfolio). ○ The original work should be ready to bring to the exhibition on the January 16th (Sun.), 2011. The award may be cancelled when the work doesn't follow the original "portfolio", or when it can't be brought to the exhibition on time. ○ You can not exhibit "portfolio" itself. ○ When the work is a set of more than one piece, please indicate the order on the back of each piece and file them in order. ● It is the artist's responsibility to acquire any permission that concerns copyright of the work or the images included in the work. ○ We may excerpt your entry if the work is against moral code. ○ Should there be any problem concerning the entered work, the award for the work may be cancelled. ● We would take utmost care of all the works entered, but we can not take any responsibility for any damages of unexpected causes such as natural disaster. ○ We may fix or repair panel and frame of the entered work when it is necessary during the exhibition. ● Copyright for all entries remains the property of the artist, but the Executive Committee reserve the right to publish any entry free of charge, in any edition, in any country. ○ Image of the final selection work has to reserve the right for commercial promotion of the Tennoji Terminal Building Co. (we will return the work to the representative who have the receipt too.) ＊ The work will be send back ONLY in Japan by mid- November 2010, after selection, to the addresses submitted by application. We do not give a special consideration for the accidents such as postal delay. ● We recommend to send the package of the work by Postal mail only. Do NOT by DHL or others. ● We do not send back the applied work to the artist. ● We accept no liability for accident or damage caused by shipping. ● Please use Japanese or English to fill application form. ● No portfolio entry is accepted.
